Well....we have a new female feline addition to the family. We believe that the right pets sort of "come to you,"...especially when you look for them! We have been thinking about adding a "cuddly" cat for me (Linus is more of an enjoy at a distance cat), and have handled MANY kittens over the last half a year. Today, while purchasing cat food, we found the most beautiful, easy going, cuddly, purry little tabby who is about seven months old. We played with her for about an hour, and then decided to bring her home. The reception at home was....let us just say "unfriendly". Hobbes went into full melt-down mode, and Linus kept his distance for a while (gave me hope), and then came up to her and spit in her face!! Little brats. Well, it took us about three months to get Hobbes and Linus together...so I guess we can do it again! Right now the boys are having a "what the !@##$%$^ is that thing doing here" conference under the bed, and she is enjoying the living room couch with me, Matt and Tillie (who has much better manners than the resident felines). She has her own litter box and bed that she will use in our bathroom (which is pretty good sized) while we are away, and then we will let her out when we get home. No name yet, but we have narrowed it down to Sabrina, Natasha (Nattie for short), or Gypsy.
She is a reticulated, black, gray and white tabby with white feet. I took this picture as she stared at the fish tank....

These were taken as she explored the living room.

She is very gregarious, and is already rubbing all over our feet and purring. She seems to dig the piano (seems to be a cat favorite). I bet I will be cleaning off three sets of footprints now....These were taken as Matt was holding her so I could get a picture of her face. It is night-time, so I had to use the flash, and she wasn't a fan. She has big beautiful eyes, but kept squinting in these.

We call this one - PUT ME DOWN!
