Our house has interesting colors. It is tan with black and brown trim, but we plan to paint it blue (or green) at some point.
All of the molding etc. are craftsman style, which you can see in the front door. The front door opens into the living room, and you can see the kitchen/dining room beyond that.

The library is a small room adjoining the living room that has french doors that open into it.
The kitchen has beautiful cabinetry, and the window over the sink will hopefully provide a good view of the birds that I hope to lure there.

The bathrooms have dark brown formica for the countertops, and the nice wood cabinetry underneath. The floor is an ugly linoleum that has blue in it (we will cover most of it up with rugs). The master bath is bigger, but is considered a 3/4 bath because of the standing shower (with seats) as opposed to the full shower in the hall bath.
I didn't take any pics of the bedrooms, but they are standard sizes. Not too small. The laundry rooms is the hallway between the garage and the living room. And that is about it! It isn't huge - just 1388 square feet, but it will do! At least we don't have to worry about things like the air conditioning breaking right off the bat!
The backyard is an L shape, and is about 30 feet deep in the back, and 20 on the one side. Not huge, but again, will do. At least we get to design the landscape!! Can't wait to send updated pics once we paint and get moved in!
The other exciting new addition today was my new pet rat - Molly. We recently lost Delilah, my little girl rat due to old age, and Matt's rat, Dash, is approaching the same fate quickly. We hadn't planned to get any more...but, well, as fate would have it, they had newly weaned baby rats at the pet store - and she just stood out. (I was there getting crickets - a responsible purchase...really!!). We like her a lot and are excited to introduce her to her new home!

Love, love, love the house! I'm glad you posted so many pictures. I'm the kind of person that wants to see every detail...even if it is so that I will turn green with envy over your nice, new everything! I can't wait to come change Maren's diaper on your new carpet. Ha! :-)
