We enjoyed spending the evening playing games and hanging out. We enjoyed the reading of the Christmas story and The Night Before Christmas. And all of us decided this would be a Christmas that we all slept in....until 7 or 8!
The next morning, Kristin drove over very first thing (at about 7) and we all enjoyed a festive Christmas morning. I enjoyed watching Jesse learn that opening gifts is FUN. We were enjoying ourselves so much that we forgot to take pictures until Mom, Kristin and Megan opened their gifts. I wanted to capture the moment, so Matt snapped this for me!
It was a really enjoyable and relaxing Christmas, and we really appreciated the electricity and beautiful clear bright day (the polar opposite of last year :>
We got all kinds of fun stuff, including a nice chopper (which I am very excited to use) and a pasta maker for Matt!! It should be a fun year in the kitchen!
