Today was my second day at Craft Warehouse! I am enjoying getting to know my co-workers, the procedures for running registers and helping customers, and figuring out where everything is in the store! Today I as I straightened papers I realized that Matt and I really need to do some scrapbook pages together. Some of those papers are SOOOO cute! Today was especially fun because I worked in the scrapbook section and was able to help a woman construct a card for a holiday invitation. I like helping people :>
The last few weeks here have been absolutely gorgeous; the sun was out even though there was a crispness in the air and the leaves had really really begun to turn in earnest. However, this morning as I entered the bathroom, I could hear the tell-tale tapping of rain on the skylight, and I realized that the rain was here. The leaves were blowing down from the trees and across the roads in a steep arc as I drove to work this morning and the roads were reflective. Those who know me realize that I am able to embrace the grays of the rainy season (Oct - June) because I realize that it brings me that much closer to CHRISTMAS! One of the most fabulous parts of working at Craft Warehouse is that the people who work there AND the customers feel the same way. I get to work in the holiday spirit for two and a half months. I come home smelling of cinnamon. They play Christmas music ALL DAY. Couldn't be better.

Congrats! What a fun job. I LOVE craft stores.
When Megan and I woke up from naps on the couch later in the afternoon, we were both thinking about Christmas! I'm not quite ready for the music yet, but Andy asked if we could listen to some today!!
Woohoo, Anne and Christmas! The punks have started practicing their Christmas music on the piano and guitar, I'm going to miss hearing that. But I'm playing my Christmas music now, too! And what a perfect place for you to work - you are creative and have such good taste, they are lucky to have you!
